Qualifications

• 2-4 years of software development experience in Linux or embedded systems.
• Understanding of Linux networking including routing, iptables, DHCP, and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software features for new or existing products.
• Create design documentation and conduct design reviews.
• Assist in automated unit tests development.
• Provide estimates for design and feature development.
• Track project stories/tasks and ensure timely completion.

Skills

Application development skills in Linux environments

Python and/or Linux scripting languages

C/C++

Jenkins automation build and test environment

Software configuration management with Git

Linux container concepts, especially Docker

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
