An educational institution in Ontario is seeking qualified candidates for a teaching position requiring an Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate. Applicants should have specialist qualifications in relevant subjects. Responsibilities include teaching at least one section per semester and participating in the screening process for applicants. Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification and qualified to teach in the Intermediate and/or Senior divisions, in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations.
Applicants will be considered in the following order:
*NOTE: applicants external to the Art department would be required to teach Visual Arts
The successful candidate must be assigned at least one section per semester within the school and shall teach as least one section each semester in the subject area of the department. Please review Article XI sections 11.01 – 11.10 for further details
All applications are to include a complete resume of experience, qualifications, a copy of your current Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers, practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s), and the names of three (3) professional references, (as least one of whom must be a current supervisor/principal, if applicable).
Current contract teachers may apply directly to the principal of the school.
