Overview

The RBC Direct Investing Marketing team is seeking an innovative, bold-thinking, results-driven Acquisition Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of its Direct Investing customer acquisition strategy, driving scalable growth and retention. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving maximum profitable acquisition and is an investing enthusiast. The Manager is a dynamic marketing enthusiast who is data-obsessed and focused on collaborating on new growth opportunities, living at the intersection of creativity and performance and not afraid to challenge the status quo.

What will you do?
  • Collaborate on and support a growth marketing strategy to deliver profitable acquisition, platform adoption/engagement, growth and retention, leveraging data and insights, and spanning across paid media, organic and owned channels
  • Coordinate high-impact growth marketing campaigns, and optimize paid media investments through testing and data-driven insights
  • Work with Senior Manager on addressing gaps in complex processes and identifying opportunities for growth within the overall strategy; share creative solutions and suggestions for growth marketing improvements/testing
  • Develop a deep understanding of the self-directed investing space and related product offerings, their context within RBC’s business ecosystem, and translate the value proposition into client-centric messaging
  • Support efforts to understand macro, category and consumer trends to inform the growth marketing strategy and approach, sparking development of innovative acquisition/engagement opportunities and testing
  • Navigate complexity by collaborating with key stakeholders across management levels, including internal and external partners, from ideation, strategy development to execution
  • Contribute to a high-performing team fostering a growth mindset, creativity, experimentation, solution orientation and intrinsic curiosity
Must-have
  • 5+ years of integrated acquisition marketing experience with a strong background in financial services or startups, with a personal passion for investing
  • Familiarity in driving profitable data-driven acquisition, with a depth of experience in digital, mobile, social, and CRM; ability to exceed business targets
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, adapting to a rapidly evolving category and ambiguous, agile environments
  • Proven ability to influence in a highly complex organization; demonstrated client focus and strategic thinking
  • Excellent storytelling, communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for innovation and challenging the status quo, emphasizing stakeholder management and buy-in through collaboration
