Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in accounts receivable will be an asset.

Overview

Nakiska Ski Resort is seeking an energetic individual with a passion for outdoor recreation to join our Accounting team. Are you looking at spending a season working in the Canadian Rockies? We have winter seasonal roles that will leave you with awesome experiences and friendships that will last a life time.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile daily cash outs and enter cash outs in the cash sheets
  • Reconcile promos and vouchers in the cash sheets
  • Maintain department floats and safe counts
  • Reconcile and process Petty Cash
  • Maintain the ATM
  • Process Ticketing and Ski School Reservations
  • Moneris setup and maintenance
  • Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned
You
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure
  • Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Maintain the ability to work well under pressure
  • Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor
Required Experience
  • High school diploma with specialized courses in accounting
  • 1-2 year’s experience in accounts receivable will be an asset
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset
  • Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset
