Qualifications

Job description

A major oil and gas company is seeking an experienced 4th Class Power Engineer / Gas Plant Operator in the Fort St John area, on a 7/7 rotation. The plant processes include refrigeration, sulphinol sweetening, acid gas injection, condensate stabilization, gas-driven power generation, and compression and generation by 3600 Cat engines.

Candidates from the Fort St John area are encouraged to apply, as no camp or accommodations are provided.

Additional requirements include:

• Valid 4th class power engineering certificate or higher
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Valid Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation
• Clean driving abstract
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol test
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, and within a team
