Job summary

A major oil and gas producer is seeking an Operator with a 4th Class Power Engineer certification to join their team in Grande Prairie. This role involves production field operations and future transfer to a gas processing facility. Candidates must be local and adhere to a 8/6 shift pattern. The ideal applicant is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to work both independently and as part of a team. Full compliance with safety protocols and other operational tasks is essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed Parts A & B of 4th Class Power Engineering.
  • Previous production operations experience is a strong asset.
  • Current Standard First Aid and H2S Alive tickets are required.

Overview

A major oil and gas producer is looking for an Operator with a 4th Class Power Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be trained on production field operations and eventually transfer into their gas processing facility. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, career-driven and demonstrate both professionalism and enthusiasm. Candidates must be local to Grande Prairie but will be required to stay in camp. Shift is 8/6, 10 hour days.

Qualifications
  • Full 4th Class Power Engineering Ticket (Parts A & B Completed)
  • Previous production operations or related experience a strong asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean abstract
  • Current Standard First Aid and H2S Alive tickets
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Strong aptitude for detail, disciplined work ethic and the ability to take initiative as well as to accept direction
  • Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
