Opportunity
We are seeking summer interns across several Administrative Assistant roles to join the Wealth Management team, including roles such as Private Client Associate, Branch Support Assistant, Operations Assistant, Private Banking Associate, and more. You will assist Investment Counsellors or Advisors and support team members in delivering exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
- Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail; liaise with various departments for execution when necessary.
- Assist Advisor teams with client onboarding and maintenance of existing client accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements; maintain complete and up‑to‑date client files within appropriate systems.
- Support Advisor teams and clients through the Wealth Management process, maintaining an audit of activities and priorities.
- Stay current with all RBC Policies & Procedures.
- Provide support on assigned projects, conduct research, and share information with the team.
- Answer basic inquiries and resolve routine problems regarding products and services via calls, email, or internet chat.
- Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis.
- Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation, maintaining client cash flows and balances.
Qualifications
Must have
- High level of time management and organization skills.
- Demonstrated skills in providing world‑class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Interest in the Canadian investment landscape.

- If not returning to school, you must require the full work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.
