Overview

18-month Limited Term Lecturer/Instructor, Finance and Management Science. Applications are invited for a full-time 18-month limited term position at the rank of Lecturer or Instructor with the Department of Finance & Management Science, Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan, located in Saskatoon, Canada.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering both introductory and advanced finance courses, engaging with faculty, students, and community partners, and contributing to collaborative initiatives within the instructor team. The teaching load is nine (9) courses per year (typically 4-4-1). The anticipated start date is January 1, 2026.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A relevant graduate degree is required for the lecturer rank; a relevant undergraduate degree and professional designation are required for the instructor rank.
  • Teaching experience with demonstrated effective classroom teaching and student mentorship skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In line with AACSB qualification standards, either an advanced graduate degree (e.g., PhD) with current and relevant research activity, or substantial and relevant professional work experience.
Salary and Benefits

Salary information for the 2025-2026 academic year: Lecturer: $92,639 to $135,479; Instructor: $74,789 to $117,629.
