Graphic Designer (Remote) (Position located in Brazil)

The Graphic Designer conceptualizes storyboard information and translates it into comprehensive layouts for animation, creating high-quality visual assets (artwork & videos) leveraging AI tools and traditional design software. You will research e-learning and design trends to keep courses fresh, review assets for consistency, and help oversee production and deadlines. You will emulate the publisher’s design style for KnowBe4 publishers and collaborate with other eLearning developers, QA, and engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Creative problem-solving and adaptability
• Collaborates with a creative team to integrate AI-generated and human-created design elements
• Creates graphics reflecting objectives and publisher style, leveraging AI design tools while maintaining consistency
• Develops and refines prompts to create AI image and video assets for eLearning modules
• Enhances AI-generated visuals using traditional design software
• Develops storyboard layouts incorporating VO and AI components
• Prepares images for animation and course development, optimizing for technical requirements
• Works with in-house animators or external vendors on motion graphics
• Creates course collateral using traditional and AI-assisted design
• Packages assets for localization vendors
• Reviews layouts for consistency and works within deadlines
• Prepares assets for web use
• Builds training modules in KnowBe4’s proprietary course authoring tool
• Supports content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive per KnowBe4 DEI statement
• Ensures WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance
• Evaluates AI-generated content for quality, copyright, and alignment with project objectives
• Documents best practices and recommends improvements to AI workflows
• Creates templates and frameworks for consistent AI writing tool use

Requirements:

• BA, BFA or comparable work/life experience
• Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience
• Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
• Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience in creating training guides, educational materials, infographics and graphic animations
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Google Veo 3, HeyGen, Synthesia, Midjourney, RunwayML)
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Ability to give clear feedback to team members
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to prompt, create and integrate AI-generated elements with human-created content
• Knowledge of best practices for AI content creation and curation in design
• Adaptability to evolving AI capabilities in eLearning
• A critical eye for ensuring AI-generated content maintains quality
