Job summary
A leading cryptocurrency exchange is seeking a Customer Support Representative to assist users with inquiries, KYC, and account issues. Candidates should have online support experience, be fluent in Portuguese and English, and be adaptable to shift schedules. The role involves working with a team to ensure customer satisfaction and requires a strong understanding of derivatives trading terminology. This position is a full-time, remote opportunity based in Brazil. Weekend shifts may be necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in online customer support roles, specifically with tools like Zendesk or LiveChat.
- Able to learn derivatives trading terminology quickly and stay updated on trading rules.
- Strong communication skill in both Portuguese and English.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries about accounts, trading, and payments.
- Assist with KYC verification and account security setup.
- Document and escalate complex customer issues accurately.
- Communicate platform announcements and risk alerts promptly.
- Adapt to shift schedules and work irregular hours as needed.

- Handle customer inquiries via live chat, email, and other channels regarding accounts, trading, payments, etc.
- Assist customers with KYC verification, account security setup, and dispute resolution.
- Accurately document and elevate customer issues, collaborating with technical teams for complex cases.
- Stay updated on futures trading rules and promptly communicate platform announcements / risk alerts (training provided).
- Adapt to shift schedules (if required) to ensure coverage during target market hours.
- Willing to work weekends and irregular hours which will include night shifts.
- Have an online customer support experience, and proficiency in tools like Zendesk / LiveChat.
- Fast learner, able to master derivatives trading terminology quickly.
- Patient, resilient, and skilled in de‑escalating high‑tension situations.
- Familiarity with Brazilian / Portuguese user communication styles; finance or customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English is essential.
