Lead System Architect act as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that teams are successful in their delivery, translating complex customer challenges into cutting-edge technical solutions by orchestrating the entire solution lifecycle—from the initial proposal and successful delivery to ongoing support through managed services. Having a balance of high-level and tactical mindsets is a must, as you will spend time both with clients and your teammates.

Lead System Architect guide and coach their teams in their implementation and application.

Job Responsibilities
  • Focus on understanding and documenting client problems and requirements, and provide managed service solutions to address them.
  • Build the proposal development process from managed services solution strategy discussions through solution design, pricing, proposal document preparation, and pitching to internal account leadership teams and clients.
  • Champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
  • Oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to evolution in production and everything in between.
  • Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software as well as value to end customers as early as possible.
  • Design solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while working within constraints and making pragmatic tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with a variety of teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes, ensuring best practices and UX specifications are embedded along the way.
  • Apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems.
  • Apply a variety of languages and tools to your work and continue to code alongside Developers; you will not be post-technical in this role.
  • Efficiently utilize and champion DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software, advocating devops culture and shifting security left in development.
  • Cultivate Thoughtworker growth and development by encouraging feedback and fostering an inclusive, supportive team culture.
