Build and migrate backend and integration code from PHP / JavaScript into Python services. You’ll work on business logic, APIs / integrations, and data access, with light Linux operations and a strong focus on clarity, communication, and asking the right questions.
- Migrate existing PHP + JavaScript functionality into Python services (maintain behavior, improve structure, add tests).
- Implement backend features and business logic with solid programming fundamentals.
- Write and maintain SQL queries (data access, reporting, validations).
- Run / debug scripts and jobs on Linux servers (SSH, logs, scheduled executions).
- Contribute to code reviews; surface failures / risks early and propose fixes.
- Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders: clarify requirements, ask questions, document decisions.
- Support workflows / pipelines using Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Working proficiency in PHP and JavaScript and interest / ability to migrate to Python.
- Strong programming logic and problem-solving skills.
