Bunge has an exciting opportunity available for Sr BackEnd Engineer-Salesforce. In this role you will be part of a global team working on challenging, meaningful projects impacting core business activities.

The Sr BackEnd Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems for Bunge's digital products. The Sr BackEnd Engineer will work with a team of talented engineers to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and security of Bunge’s backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs using industry-standard frameworks.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase.
• Ensure that backend systems are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Guide teammates on developing efficient and secure backend components.
• Establish and promote best practices, standards and guidelines related to back-end engineering for Bunge technology products.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SalesForce backend programming, including Apex, with ability to write complex Apex code for custom logic and triggers.
• Understanding of Lightning Web Components.
• Experience with building RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Deep understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud standard data models.
• Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (including Unit Testing and Debugging, CI/CD pipeline with automated testing).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 - 10 years of position related experience, or equivalent combo of education and experience level.
• Experience with working in agile projects.
• Fluency in English.
• Salesforce Certifications (Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II).
