We’re looking for a high‑ownership React Native Mobile Engineer to join our Platform Team, where you’ll help power experiences used daily by 10K+ to millions of users. If you love building polished mobile products, obsess over performance, and enjoy the pace of a fast‑moving startup, this role is for you.

• Design, build, and scale high‑performance mobile apps using React Native & Expo for iOS and Android.
• Own end‑to‑end mobile features from product discussions and architecture to launch and iteration.
• Work on data‑heavy, deeply nested UIs that must remain fast, responsive, and delightful at scale.
• Build and maintain audio playback & recording experiences used in real‑world customer workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Native (Swift/Kotlin) teams.
• Debug, optimise, and ship improvements rapidly to our users’ notice when things break, and so do we.
• Make data‑driven engineering decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and speed.
• Raise the bar for mobile architecture, code quality, and user experience across the platform.

• Proven experience shipping mobile apps to App Store / Play Store with 10K+ active users.
• Deep expertise in React Native, with a strong understanding of how it differs from web React.
• Experience working with audio playback, recording, or real‑time media is a big plus.
• Strong grasp of performance optimisation, memory usage, and smooth animations.
• Solid architectural instincts, you care about scalability, separation of concerns, and flexibility.
• A customer‑first mindset: bugs, edge cases, and UX papercuts matter to you.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing startup environment.
• You reason through problems logically and build future‑proof solutions, not hacks.
• Bonus: Exposure to native mobile development (Swift / Kotlin).

• Frontend: React Native, Expo, StyleSheet.create(), React Navigation
• State & Data: Zustand, Apollo Client, GraphQL
• Backend: Node.js (TypeScript), MongoDB
• Native: Swift, Kotlin (audio‑focused integrations)
• Infra: Docker, Kubernetes, GCP
