Senior Backend Developer (NestJS / Digital Banking Platform)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with 10+ years of experience and deep expertise in NestJS, API architecture, and multi-tenant systems to join our team. You will lead backend development for a next-generation digital banking platform, enabling account creation, secure transfers, real-time dashboards, and deposit tracking. This is a hands-on leadership role for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and mentors a young engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable multi-tenant APIs for a digital banking system.
• Implement secure account creation, transfers, and real-time banking dashboards.
• Lead API architecture discussions, testing (unit, integration, e2e), and deployments.
• Mentor and coach a growing engineering team, instilling backend best practices.
• Facilitate code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Propose improved architectural and technical solutions.

Event Streaming & Observability

• Drive adoption of event streaming (Kafka) for real-time processing.
