Role Definition

Provide effective training and evaluation to customers, dealers, internal personnel and varied audiences to support and promote the sale of Caterpillar products and services with a specific focus on MineStar Command for Hauling. Support development and execution of global office and operator training programs.

What will you do

• Develop and Deliver Training: Create and facilitate engaging training modules, courses, and programs that align with customer service processes and mining operational needs and provide hands‑on classroom training related to product operation and safety.
• Maintain Training Materials: Ensure all training content is current, accurate, and compliant with organizational policies and procedures.
• Consult on Training Needs: Partner with business units and dealers to assess training requirements and recommend tailored learning solutions.
• Support Quality Initiatives: Participate in quality assessment and continuous improvement processes for training programs.
• Build Customer Relationships: Interact with dealers, customers and partners as needed for questions regarding assigned training product/s while fostering strong relationships through communication, delivery of commitments, and responsiveness to feedback.
• Anticipate and Exceed Expectations: Proactively identify customer needs and deliver training solutions that exceed expectations. Measure customer satisfaction and implement improvements based on insights and feedback.

Skills

• Training Operations: Deep knowledge of training processes and procedures, with the ability to manage and execute training programs that support both daily operations and long‑term strategy.
• Customer Focus: Strong understanding of customer‑centric values and practices, with the ability to design training that aligns with customer needs and enhances satisfaction.
• Service Excellence: Proven ability to deliver exceptional service through training, ensuring customer needs are met or exceeded.
• Effective Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Problem Solving: Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational or process‑related challenges using structured problem‑solving techniques.

Basic requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Pre Advanced English
• Demonstrated technology training experience (classroom, dealer and customer facing); prior related training roles
• Knowledge of, and operating skill in, technology products software and their applications.

Top Candidates will also have

• Spanish is highly desirable
• Hands‑on experience with MineStar technologies.
• Background in mining operations or mining engineering.

Additional Information

• This position requires up to 40% global travel.
• Travel may require working on remote mine sites.
• Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
