About the role

The Stewarding Assistant Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees in the Stewarding department.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewarding attendants to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the department
• Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, stewarding machinery, compactor room, carts and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule
• Assure hygiene techniques, proper sanitation and supply of clean silverware for hotel outlets
• Requisite, store, stock, collect, wash and restock china, silver, glass and other equipment in designated areas of the hotel according to a predetermined par stock

What you bring

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Cantonese, Mandarin and English language
• Bachelor degree, preferable in hotel management
• 1-2 years in stewarding management and or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, maintenance, merchandising and accounting
