Responsibilities

The Senior Director – Digital Delivery will provide strategic direction and oversight for the delivery of digital solutions, which will include digital product delivery, data and analytics, emerging technologies, and application decommissioning used to support the execution of Mosaic's business strategy.

As a key member of the IT Leadership Team, this person will partner with key stakeholders to provide solutions that align with the strategies and priorities of the business while minimizing cost and will contribute to the development of talent and capabilities that will bring strategic value to the organization.

Lead the development and execution of an enterprise strategy for digital product delivery, data & analytics, and application decommissioning & Mergers and Acquisitions that supports the strategic plans and priorities of the business and provides enhanced internal and external customer experiences.

Digital Product Delivery

Implement and maintain enterprise-wide platforms and applications.

Ensure that the digital solutions, processes, and applications implemented are consistent with industry best practice, applicable laws and policies, enterprise architecture stability and security, and enablement of seamless application service management.

Provide ultimate approval or rejection for all release / deployment plans.

Facilitate implementation approach to achieve continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation through the DevOps pipeline.

Sponsor the development of standard testing strategies, processes, tools, methods, etc.

Data and Analytics

Develop and drive the vision for data, analytics, and emerging technologies, such as AI and ML.

Serve as a thought partner for the business and enable the use of data as a strategic asset to enhance data-driven business decision-making, internal processes, and external competitiveness within the Mosaic technology environment.

Application Decommissioning

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for the efficient & secure decommissioning of applications within the Mosaic IT ecosystem & ensuring alignment with organizational goals & compliance requirements.

Lead the development of the enterprise digital delivery strategy and ensure integration with the overall IT & enterprise strategic plans through coordination with IT leadership & key business leaders & stakeholders.

Partner with Cybersecurity, Technical Services, & IT Strategy, Portfolio & Financial leaders to develop & manage technology roadmaps.

Define clear application business transformation vision that enables business innovation for the organization.

Ensure alignment between business and IT needs & objectives while focusing on best practice, emerging trends & striving towards innovative solutions that create a competitive advantage.

Assess technologies & implement technical architectures to increase business agility & manage complexity.

Define & execute forward-looking plans to develop relevant new technology skills & capabilities.

In partnership with IT leaders, ensure the continued adoption, maturity & continuous improvement of the Agile operating model.

Ensure strong delivery of managed services activities – application maintenance & development, process & application service levels, continuous improvement, & innovation.

Manage technology obsolescence & vendor risks.

Stakeholder Interaction

Build & maintain strong strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, external strategic vendors, & IT leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs.

Ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs & respond with agility to changing business priorities.

Work and collaborate with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders & contacts to foster a business-oriented culture to ensure alignment between IT & the business & to directly contribute to Mosaic's goals & objectives.

Strategically collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain the technology roadmap & to manage the development pipeline.

People Leadership

Lead, develop & coach the Digital Delivery team to continually improve the capabilities necessary to increase performance of the organization.

Provide timely & constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles & the business.

Manage performance issues when necessary.

Work with employees on their career development plans.

Ensure a strong succession pipeline for the Digital Delivery area.

Foster a business-oriented culture & mindset driven by a continual service improvement approach.

IT Leadership Team

As an active member of the IT Leadership Team, provide global thought leadership & help drive technology innovation & continuous improvement.

Participate in the development of the IT strategic plan, annual budgeting, forecasting, & resource management activities that align with business strategies & priorities.

Ensure the continued adoption, maturity & continuous improvement of the Agile operating model.

Collaborate with other platform leaders on cross-platform initiatives.

Ensure the continuous development of the right organizational talent & capabilities to bring significant strategic value to the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area is required.

Master's degree preferred.

15+ years of progressively responsible Information Technology experience.

10+ years of management experience in a large corporation.

Direct experience managing development teams from a managed service provider required.

Direct experience managing SAP development teams required, S / 4 HANA required.

Ability to identify opportunities for the appropriate & cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems & processes, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, & in-house development.

Ability to interact with internal & external business users to gather & prioritize business requirements, oversee the design of solutions that adhere to architectural standards & direction to solve business requirements, and provide guidance to project & support organizations.

Ability to anticipate & understand business strategies, objectives & priorities.

Rigorous budget management in accordance with annual IT budgets.

Experience transitioning & leading an organization under an Agile operating model required.

Must be a self-driven, motivated senior IT leader with strong analytical & problem-solving skills, excellent communication, & good customer & executive presence.

Ability to adapt to a continually changing business & work environment & manage multiple, fast-changing priorities.

Strong motivational leader that possesses a hands‑on, lead by example approach with the ability to lead a fast‑paced IT team of both full‑time & contract staff.

Excellent verbal, written, listening, facilitation & presentation communication skills.

Ability to present & discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, & gains understanding & the "discuss‑decide‑support" philosophy.
