We are a unit in CPA SAP&Business Admin, a global unit within Group IT with the responsibility for IT solutions and IT projects related to Finance and Human Resources. This position is to work in Solution Center HR Americas – with deliveries to Brazil and US.

Do you have a passion for customer success and want to be part of securing outstanding Digital & IT solutions for the end user? As Full Stack Software Engineer/Developer you will work on the regional team providing HR solutions related to timekeeping, health and safety, payroll, benefits, communications & more, enabling our business and empowering our people. You will be a key player in creating new solutions and supporting foundation legacies in close collaboration with our stakeholders.

You will be the driver of software support & development during all product phases (planning, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance). You will analyze, build, test, and maintain software applications that are tailored to business specific needs, also working with suppliers and vendors for COTS and SaaS applications.

To succeed in this position, you will need to interact with others and enjoy presenting and sharing the vision of what we are creating for the future. Further, it is important to be actively involved with problems at hand, have a critical and positive view of different solutions and be willing to drive change. All activities take place in a multi‑paradigm environment, mixing the new and the traditional.

As a person, you need to be a team player with a positive mindset, and you are curious to further take on the various development challenges. You are an experienced Support & Development Analyst, having knowledge on overall Agile Methodologies.

Have a logical, analytical, and creative approach to problems and the ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to explain complex issues. The unique combination of analysis, technical skills and knowledge of various procedures, tools and understanding of business requirements allows you to analyze, build, test, and maintain applications tailored to business specific needs.

Main activities and responsibilities
  • Support the HR area on developing new solutions and migrating legacies to new exciting technologies like Azure environment.
  • Work with backend and frontend applications.
  • Collaborate with the other developers and the business analysts to improve our applications.
  • Collaborate with the other developers/architects to perform troubleshooting and handle all levels of incidents.
  • Take part in code reviews, design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Help solve highly complex cases of incidents in projects or regular runtime support, which may include reviewing the delivered infrastructure, logs, application issues, frameworks and integrations as a last instance of knowledge.
  • Provide delivery estimates (time and cost wise).
  • Code libraries and components and exhaustively document them.
