The work you'll do

• Collaborating with a cross‑functional team to translate customer needs and product vision into new features.
• Helping us maintain and improve our platform's performance, stability, and scalability.
• Contributing to our backend architecture and strategy.
• Being involved in monitoring and triaging issues & bugs.
• Helping and mentoring less experienced developers and building a strong engineering team.

What you bring to the team

• Several years of experience building web applications in Node.js and other technologies and frameworks.
• Experience releasing, maintaining, and scaling a SaaS product on the public cloud (AWS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, very fluent, comfortable with English; able to explain technical concepts and help bring consensus within the team.
• Experience with backend architectures in Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
• Experience with frontend technologies like React and Redux is a bonus; can build simple things end‑to‑end.
• Experience or affinity with data pipelines, data modeling, e.g., Apache Spark.
• Experience or affinity with DevOps technologies, such as Infrastructure as Code.
