What we are looking for:

LILT is actively seeking experienced bilingual dentists (or advanced students of Dentistry) to review translated content to ensure clinical accuracy, correct terminology usage, and clarity of information shared. We seek professionals who can seamlessly bridge the gap between complex dental science and effective communication. Your clinical expertise is your primary asset!

If you have clinical experience in other dental specialties (e.g., periodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery) please ensure it is clearly stated on your application.

Please note:

  • This is a remote freelance contractor position.
  • We use Tipalti exclusively for contractor payments. An active Tipalti account or the ability to set one up will be a prerequisite for working with LILT.
Requirements
  • Clinical Background: A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent degree OR current enrollment as an advanced student (3rd year or higher) in an accredited dentistry program.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Demonstrated native or near‑native fluency in English and your mother tongue (both clinical and professional contexts). Please state your mother tongue clearly.
  • Review/Editing Experience: Proven ability to meticulously review and correct specialized medical or technical content. Experience in writing, editing, or translating dental‑related materials is a significant advantage.
  • Domain Expertise: Ability to accurately and confidently handle terminology in your declared fields of expertise (e.g., prosthodontics, advanced digital workflows).
