As the LATAM SDR Manager, you'll collaborate closely with Sales, Partner, and Field Marketing leadership to drive regional prospecting excellence, refine targeting strategies, and inspire SDRs across Latin America to perform at their best. Ignite the Path to Future Business Growth

As our LATAM Sales Development Manager, you'll lead a distributed team of full‑time employees and contractors based across multiple Latin American countries. You will drive strategy, culture and execution for a team on the front lines of new business creation, from guiding SDRs on modern outbound techniques to operationalizing data‑driven campaigns with Sales and Marketing.

As a LATAM Manager Sales Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and coaching SDRs across several LATAM countries, including contractors and in‑region specalisits
  • Partnering tightly with Sales and Field Marketing leadership to refine campaign strategies, ensure alignment on funnel execution, and maximize regional pipeline creation
  • Acting as a player‑coach, ensuring SDRs effectively leverage tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, TechTarget, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for efficient prospecting
  • Building and maintaining Salesforce & Salesloft reporting dashboards to track performance, communicate outcomes to executive leadership, and identify areas for improvement
  • Driving collaboration between Akamai SDRs and regional partner SDRs, ensuring seamless lead handoffs and alignment across shared campaigns
  • Fostering an engaging, performance‑driven culture, leveraging CliftonStrengths, SPIFs, and incentives to keep remote teams motivated and aligned
  • Traveling occasionally to connect with team members, field leaders, and partners across the LATAM region
Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrate proven success managing SDR teams and developing talent in a remote, multicultural environment across Latin America
  • Be fluent in Spanish and highly proficient in English (Portuguese is a strong plus)
  • Have hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, TechTarget, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Be familiar with parallel and AI dialing tools (e.g., Orum, Nooks) and how to scale outreach efficiently
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills with Sales and Marketing leadership, ensuring messaging, targeting, and reporting remain aligned to regional goals
  • Possess exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategy and results
