What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide field access support services and education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to maximize patient access to company products
  • Communicate with Specialty Pharmacies and Closed Door Pharmacies to support marketed products in the U.S.
  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and their office staff to resolve coverage issues
  • Train HCPs on payer‑specific coverage policies and patient financial assistance support programs
  • Monitor and improve the pharmacy distribution network's effectiveness and efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years in specialty pharmacy/market access
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers
  • Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience
  • PharmD or PhD AND 2+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience in sales, management, or marketing within pharma/biotech
  • Familiarity with current issues in the pharmaceutical industry and national healthcare system
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and improve tools and processes
