What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide field access support services and education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to maximize patient access to company products
- Communicate with Specialty Pharmacies and Closed Door Pharmacies to support marketed products in the U.S.
- Build and maintain relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and their office staff to resolve coverage issues
- Train HCPs on payer‑specific coverage policies and patient financial assistance support programs
- Monitor and improve the pharmacy distribution network's effectiveness and efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years in specialty pharmacy/market access
- Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers
- Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience
- PharmD or PhD AND 2+ years of related experience
- Previous experience in sales, management, or marketing within pharma/biotech
- Familiarity with current issues in the pharmaceutical industry and national healthcare system
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and improve tools and processes
