A leading construction materials company in São Paulo, Brazil, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations for dry-mix mortar and water-based coatings. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' production experience in the building materials industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Oversee daily production management for both dry-mix mortar and water-based coatings lines. Schedule production tasks according to plan, ensuring production targets are met on time, in quantity, and to quality standards.
Supervise the entire production process from material preparation, feeding, and mixing to packaging and palletizing, ensuring smooth and efficient operations at all stages.
Strictly execute the production schedule, optimize production cycle times, and improve equipment utilization and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Manage daily shift operations, including personnel scheduling, task assignment, work guidance, and on-site discipline supervision.
Organize and implement job skill training to enhance team members' operational skills, quality awareness, and safety mindset.
Conduct performance evaluations for shift personnel, providing continuous feedback and coaching to build a high-performance team.
Strictly enforce standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure process standardization and stability.
Monitor in-line product quality, perform regular checks at key quality control points, and prevent the occurrence of batch quality issues.
Collaborate with the Quality department to analyze, address, and track quality deviations in production, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Act as the primary safety responsible person for the shift, implementing company safety rules and regulations, organizing safety training, and conducting hazard identification.
Ensure all employees strictly adhere to safe operating procedures, particularly those related to dust explosion prevention and chemical handling, to eliminate safety accidents.
Promote and maintain 5S management in the production area, creating a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
Monitor and analyze the consumption of raw materials, energy, and auxiliary supplies, striving to reduce production costs.
Assist in analyzing equipment failure causes to reduce unplanned downtime.
Proactively identify waste in the production process, actively participate in and lead continuous improvement activities (e.g., Kaizen), and propose合理化建议 (rationalization suggestions).
