SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and execute a strategic roadmap for payments partnerships, ensuring alignment with the company's broader commercial and product objectives.
  • Identify emerging payment trends, technologies, and partnership models to enhance transaction efficiency and user trust.
  • Establish scalable partnerships that address Brazil's local payment needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with local market teams to ensure payment solutions are tailored to Brazilian regulations, customer preferences, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with trusted local payment providers to optimize adoption and deepen market penetration.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations, contract execution, and performance evaluation of payment partners.
  • Manage relationships with key payment providers, ensuring long-term strategic alignment and effective resolution of high-impact issues.
  • Optimize commercial agreements to maximize cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
  • Partner with product, finance, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions.
  • Work alongside fraud and risk teams to ensure a cohesive payment ecosystem that aligns with our broader operational strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor payment strategies, and regulatory changes in Brazil to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine partnership strategies and enhance our payments offering.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of payment partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Regularly communicate performance insights and strategic updates to senior leadership.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 10+ years in payments partnerships, financial services, fintech, or a related field with a proven track record in managing strategic relationships in Brazil.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazil's payment ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional teams, fostering a results‑oriented and innovative culture.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and design scalable partnership frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high‑stakes negotiations and structuring commercially beneficial agreements.
  • Ability to develop long‑term partnership strategies aligned with business growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining high‑value strategic partnerships.
  • Experience working closely with product, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to drive holistic payment solutions.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
