A global IT-Engineering services company is seeking an IT APM Engineer to support application portfolio management and technology mapping. This role demands 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly with LeanIX and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining application data, evaluating business value of applications, and generating insights for executive decision-making. The position is remote, based in Brazil, with a start date as soon as possible.

Qualificações

Role: IT APM Engineer
Location: Brazil (Remote)
Work Time Zone: PST overlap
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 12+ Months

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

LeanIX Data Stewardship

• Populate and maintain accurate application data within LeanIX, including ownership, lifecycle, business capabilities, and technical attributes.
• Ensure completeness and consistency of metadata across the application portfolio.

Application Rationalization

• Evaluate applications for business value (e.g., strategic alignment, user impact, cost efficiency).
• Assess technical value (e.g., scalability, integration readiness, security posture, supportability).
• Identify candidates for retirement, consolidation, or modernization.

Technology Mapping & Future Planning

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to map future business requirements to existing technologies.
• Support decision-making on whether to enhance current platforms or build new applications.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with application owners, enterprise architects, and business analysts to gather insights and validate data.
• Facilitate workshops and reviews to ensure alignment on application strategy and lifecycle decisions.

Reporting & Insights

• Generate dashboards and reports from LeanIX to support executive decision-making.
• Provide insights into portfolio health, redundancy, risk, and optimization opportunities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 3+ years of experience in application portfolio management, enterprise architecture, or IT asset management.
• Hands‑on experience with LeanIX or similar APM tools.
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle, business capability modeling, and technology stack analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK) is required.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• 5%-15% travel as per business requirements.
