A forwarding consulting firm is seeking an HR Manager in São Paulo, Brazil, to establish and lead local HR operations. This role requires at least 10 years of HR experience with a strong focus on labor laws and best practices. You will be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, enforcing HR policies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure operational excellence. Qualificações

  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are advantageous.

Formação académica

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the exclusive HR representative in Brazil, with future plans to establish and lead a local HR team.
  • Oversee daily HR operations ensuring adherence to local labor regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and offboarding processes.
  • Create and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s mission and values.
  • Keep employee records accurate and maintain up-to-date HR databases.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to guide and establish payroll processes.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
  • Address complex employee relations issues and conduct internal investigations when necessary.
  • Analyze HR data, prepare reports, and suggest improvements based on insights.
  • Conduct compensation analysis and develop supporting business cases.
  • Ensure the HR information system is accurate and well-maintained.
  • Facilitate effective communication between HR, Operations, and other departments.
Essential Skills & Qualifications – HR Manager
  • Proficient in both Portuguese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing HR strategies.
