Are you ready to take on a strategic HR role where your expertise drives meaningful impact At Fortive / OpCo we are looking for a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our LATAM team. This role is ideal for someone with deep HR knowledge strong business acumen and a passion for building inclusive high-performing cultures.
As a trusted advisor to people leaders you will guide them through complex organizational challenges and enable talent strategies that support growth and transformation. Youll lead initiatives across employee engagement performance workforce planning and talent development while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs).
Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement
- Partner with leaders to foster an inclusive culture and drive engagement.
- Analyze engagement data identify trends and co-develop action plans to improve retention and productivity.
Inclusion Diversity & Equity (IDE)
- Promote IDE principles across HR processes.
- Collaborate with leaders and COEs to implement tools and strategies that support an inclusive growth culture.
Performance Management
- Advise managers on goal setting feedback coaching and performance improvement plans.
- Support the full performance management lifecycle.
Employee Relations & Experience
- Provide guidance on HR policies and best practices.
- Coach leaders through employee relations matters and collaborate with the ER COE on investigations and resolution strategies.
Workforce Planning
- Support workforce actions including ramp-ups restructures and role eliminations.
- Use data to inform decisions and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead organizational talent assessments.
Talent Management & Manager Capability
- Equip managers with tools to select develop and retain top talent.
- Facilitate talent reviews and development planning.
- Partner with TA and COEs to deliver training and support talent decisions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
- 8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or strategic HR leadership role.
- Proven experience in Human Resources Talent Management or related functions.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and solve complex organizational challenges.
- Skilled in data-driven HR practices and project execution.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels.
- Hands‑on approach with high attention to detail.
- Experience working across time zones and global teams.
- Proficiency in Oracle HCM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in coaching and influencing leadership.
- Deep knowledge of organizational design compensation employee engagement change management and performance management.
- Strong understanding of business drivers and strategic HR alignment.
- Experience in managing moderate risk and complexity across business units.
- Experience working in a global matrixed organization is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of driving HR initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
