Role Purpose

Global Payroll Compliance and Excellence Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and support on global payroll for approximately 23,000 employees in 44 countries across the globe (Asia, Americas, and Europe). This role is responsible for ensuring, in partnership with HR regional leaders and BBS, accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing across all regions, managing payroll policies, and enhancing payroll systems and processes. This manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and regional payroll teams to implement and support on global standards processes, maintain compliance with varying regulations, and drive continuous improvement within payroll operations and T&A harmonization/standardization. The position will also support on vendor management to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance in multiple countries

Main Accountabilities

  • Support developing and implementing global payroll strategies, policies, and best practices to ensure efficient, timely, accurate and compliant payroll operations.
  • Support Global Payroll Transformation and M&A´s integration.
  • Support Time & Absence Transformation.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track payroll accuracy, efficiency and compliance, including payroll and tax reconciliation, identifying and recommending opportunities to improve tax-related processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings, labor laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Implement controls to mitigate risks associated with payroll processing, including data integrity, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to address audit requirements and resolve any compliance issues.
  • Facilitate training and communication with regional payroll teams on policies, processes, and changes in payroll regulations.
  • Partner with HR global functions to build and implement global processes, e.g. payroll mobility control, salary publishing, bonus publishing and respective activities transition to BBS.
  • Establish partnerships with third party vendors to ensure effective service delivery, and support HR regional leaders on manage them

Education & Experience

  • Degree in business management, Human Resources or related discipline in an equivalent education
  • Experience with HR Operations, payroll and/or any other HR role
  • Experience with end-to-end M&A activities
  • Experience managing large vendors and contracts
  • Focus on customer service
  • Excellent written communication and numerical skills
  • Ability to work within tight and conflicting timeframes
  • Focus on accuracy, compliance and driving results
  • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive matters
  • Fluent English language skill (Spanish is desired)
