Responsibilities

Production Oversight & Quality Control

  • Supervise FF&E production at each factory (Brazil & Europe).
  • Conduct detailed quality checks and approve inventory before packing and sign‑off.
  • Ensure all items meet Utopia’s standards for quality, specifications, and finishes.

Inbound Logistics & Storage Management

  • Monitor and confirm the arrival of goods at the Preá storage facility.
  • Arrange and oversee loading/unloading operations at all locations.
  • Hire necessary local equipment or machinery as required.
  • Maintain a full, accurate, and continuously updated inventory of all items.

  • Ensure complete documentation for internal controls and auditing.

Delivery Coordination & Final‑Mile Logistics

  • Oversee delivery schedules from factories to Preá, ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Plan and manage logistics from Preá to Jericoacoara—including batch deliveries due to access restrictions (large trucks cannot cross dunes).
  • Hire and coordinate appropriate 4x4 or off‑road trucks capable of operating in sandy conditions.
  • Supervise all loading/unloading operations for the Preá–Jericoacoara transfers.

On‑Site Coordination & Installation Support

  • Coordinate delivery timelines and equipment needs with the Construction team.
  • Organize and supervise unpacking activities.
  • Oversee Utopia‑hired installation teams to ensure full compliance with contract requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
Professional Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in FF&E logistics, supply chain management, project management, or procurement—preferably in hospitality or high‑end residential projects.
  • Proven experience supervising factory production, performing quality checks, and managing sign‑off processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate international and domestic logistics (Brazil + Europe preferred).
  • Experience managing storage facilities, inventory systems, and warehouse operations.
  • Solid track record overseeing loading/unloading operations, equipment rental, and transport coordination.
  • Hands‑on experience with remote or difficult‑access job sites (desert, beach, island, jungle environments are a strong plus).
  • Experience coordinating with construction teams, installers, and multiple vendors simultaneously.
  • Prior responsibility for delivery scheduling, documentation, and compliance.
  • Experience supervising installation teams is highly desirable.
  • Portuguese and English a must - any other language a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in inventory management tools, tracking systems, and documentation workflows.
  • Understanding of logistics planning, especially final‑mile or off‑road delivery constraints.
  • Familiarity with transport regulations, customs basics, and dispatch/receiving procedures.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills (photos, checklists, receiving logs, QC reports).
  • Ability to read technical documents (spec sheets, shop drawings, BOQs).

Salary and benefits are competitive and based on candidate experience.
