Overview

Are you a Portuguese speaker who graduated as an English Teacher? We are looking for you!

Teach fun English classes online via Zoom from the comfort of your own home! You can set your own hours and teach on the go as long as you have a solid color backdrop, a laptop, good WiFi, a webcam, and a microphone.

If you love teaching, but dread prepping for lessons and grading, this is the perfect job for you. We provide our teachers with all the lesson materials so all you have to do is show up for class and do what you do best, which is teach!

Whether you’re looking for a second stream of income or a full-time job, we’ve got you covered. You can work as little as 16 hours a month up to as much as 30 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Typical day involves logging into the platform during scheduled shifts, teaching the provided lessons, and writing short feedback for students after class. Shifts are scheduled two weeks in advance based on your availability, with the option to drop shifts or pick up extra shifts as needed.

You may adjust your schedule by dropping shifts if you are busier in a given week or by taking on additional shifts to earn more and help other teachers.

Qualifications

• Portuguese as a first language.
• C1 or C2 Level English.
• University degree in English Teaching or related area.
• One year of experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
• Access to a computer with a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Provide at least ten (10) hours of weekly availability.
