The eCommerce Technology Lead for North America will drive technology strategy and execution for Mondelez's growing eCommerce business. This role is a critical partner to both the North American Ventures team and the global eCommerce IT organization. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and project management skills, with a strong understanding of the eCommerce landscape and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and execute the North America eCommerce technology strategy, aligning with global eCommerce goals and supporting B2C (Digital Shelf & Distributed Commerce), D2C, and EB2B models.
  • Tech Stack Ownership & Roadmap: Serve as the regional product owner for the North American eCommerce tech stack, owning the roadmap and ensuring alignment with the Global eCommerce IT team. Translate business goals into actionable technical requirements.
  • Technical Liaison & Project Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical partners, ensuring alignment, feasibility, and timely execution of projects. Lead external development agency relationships.
  • eCommerce Platform Management: Manage D2C platform permissions and data flow across platforms (Shopify+, NetSuite, Celigo, etc.). Provide technical direction for new D2C site launches.
  • Data & Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy requirements, manage website compliance reviews, and support integrations between the Consumer Data Ecosystem and e-commerce databases.
Key Skills & Experience
  • eCommerce Expertise: 3-6 years of experience in the Digital or eCommerce space, with a strong understanding of eCommerce business and technical landscape.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with eCommerce related tech stack – Headless eCommerce, eCommerce Platforms (e.g. Shopify+, Celigo, Contentful, Avalara, Salsify, Netsuite), SEO, PXM, Content Syndication.
  • NetSuite Expertise: Strong NetSuite expertise to support our digital systems through the entire order management lifecycle.
  • Project Management & Communication: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to influence business leaders, manage vendor relationships, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Creative problem-solving skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to work well across diverse teams.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Ability to analyze metrics and data to drive business growth.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy requirements and accessibility standards.
  • Agile experience: Experience using Agile delivery methods.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and/or Business Administration.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods or Food industry is a strong plus.
