A technology solutions firm is seeking a motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud-native technologies while contributing to reliable, scalable systems across multi-cloud platforms.
This is a contract position , open to remote candidates located in North or South America , and will report to a Senior Manager of DevOps Engineering .
Participate in a regular on-call rotation , responding to incidents reliably and professionally
Maintain and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure , leveraging automation and infrastructure-as-code
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
Build, maintain, and improve CI / CD pipelines , enabling agile and self-service software delivery
Manage and support containerized applications running on Kubernetes
Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and other DevOps team members to solve complex technical problems
Quickly absorb technical context while ramping up in a dynamic environment
Contribute to best practices that enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance
4–6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and / or GCP
Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, or similar)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes
Experience with GitOps / CI / CD tools (e.g., Harness, Argo, Flux, Jenkins)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
Exposure to logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as :
Datadog
Prometheus
Grafana
ELK Stack
CloudWatch
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers working primarily in Pacific Time (PST)
Experience developing automation or tooling using languages beyond shell scripting (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Elixir )
Experience building or supporting platform tooling for development, staging, or integration environments
Strong skills debugging performance or networking issues in Kubernetes-based applications
Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux operating systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
