Overview

Position Overview. This is a remote position with work performed from a quiet, confidential home location approved by PNC. This role may not be available in all geographic locations. The Regulatory Risk Management team in Technology Group at PNC develops data products and business process solutions to support Regulatory Reporting, Data Submissions and Finance Capital Reporting teams. The Business Analytics Lead will work on business and regulatory requirements related to FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, Single counterparty Credit limit FR2590, Basel III. The role requires subject matter expertise in Financial and Regulatory Reporting for Financial Institutions and in data analytics tools and methodologies. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or STEM OPT for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Lead analytics processes across multiple functions or business units using complex analytical tools to create data-driven solutions; mentor junior staff.
  • Consult with clients and mentors on tool and strategy implementation, monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product/solution development.
  • Determine the optimal analytic approach and support development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Conceptualize, develop and optimize analytical solutions for operations and executive management to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management, or communicate conclusions from complex analyses to a wide range of audiences.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analytics Lead with a background in financial analysis or modeling for Asset Liability Management, Treasury Management or Credit Risk Management.
  • Working knowledge of Banking, Financial markets and products; ability to analyze regulatory implications of on- and off-balance sheet activities; familiarity with asset classes such as Commercial/Retail loans/leases, Derivatives, Securitized Assets or Equity.
  • Experience with FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, Basel III and related regulatory submissions is highly relevant.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data analysis in Oracle and Teradata databases.
  • Proficiency in Excel and exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience as a Quality Assurance tester or similar role.
  • Experience with Jira or other test management tools.
  • Extensive experience in the analysis, definition and documentation of business and data requirements.
