Job summary
A leading fintech firm in Dubai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend / Platform) with 10-14 years of experience. The role involves designing and governing backend architectures using Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and Python/FastAPI while coaching a team and enhancing compliance and data accuracy. The ideal candidate will be an expert in backend systems and have experience in fintech environments. This position offers opportunities for technical leadership and innovation in a rapidly evolving field.
Qualifications
- 10–14 years of professional software engineering experience with progression into system ownership and architecture.
- Experience in regulated or fintech environments is required.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern backend and service architectures.
- Actively code complex workflows and core platform services.
- Establish AI-assisted engineering practices and define standards.
- Lead and mentor a backend/platform team.
