Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive and greet customers, discuss servicing and repair needs, guide them on assessment and repair of problems or faults, and service requirements based on manufacturer recommendations. Record requirements correctly on the job card to avoid ambiguity affecting repair quality.
- Explain the contents, value, and costs involved in the job to the customer. Obtain confirmation, then prepare clear work instructions for technicians and maintain communication to ensure proper job progress.
- Organize inspections upon job completion to ensure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Deliver the vehicle courteously once the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction and workshop standards, ensuring business continuity.
- Build healthy, profitable relationships by proactively communicating and following up with existing and prospective customers about their vehicle performance and service needs to strengthen the customer base.
- Keep customers informed about the status of back-ordered parts, including estimated arrival dates, to demonstrate the company's commitment to resolving issues and retain customer confidence.
- Update customers periodically on work progress and deliver vehicles after collecting payment, work order, or invoice.
- Upsell new accessories, service packages, and additional services; participate actively in service campaigns.
- Enhance product knowledge through web-based and classroom training.
- Establish cordial relations with customers and workshop staff.
- Follow up on Work In Progress (WIP), aiming for closure within 30 days.
- Follow up with customers on long-pending vehicles to facilitate delivery.

Education/Certification and Continued Education
- Vocational qualification in automotive trade, or
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering, or graduate
Years of Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in the automotive trade
