We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist for our UAE operations. Below are the required skills, experience, and terms & conditions:
- Advanced knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, etc.)
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (Python, C, Java) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills, with intellectual curiosity, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire others, build relationships, and create a followership; results-driven and achievement-oriented
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying analytical and technical content clearly and understandably
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; an advanced degree is a strong plus
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in mathematical modeling within a business environment
- Proven experience working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL)
- Strong knowledge of one or more data science or decision science domains (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, explainable AI, econometrics, deep learning, NLP, time series forecasting, deployment, causal inference, uplift modeling, optimization)
- Ability to articulate analytic processes from start to finish within your area of expertise
- Joining timeframe: within 2 weeks, maximum 1 month
