A leading electronic engineering company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a motivated Trainee Electronic Engineer to join their R&D team. The successful candidate will support the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits. Key responsibilities include fault finding, precision soldering, and documenting test results. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma or degree in Electronics or a related field and have basic skills in soldering and electronic troubleshooting. Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Trainee Electronic Engineer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will support the development, testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems. This role requires a basic understanding of electronic components fault finding and soldering techniques.
- Assist in the design development and testing of electronic circuits and systems.
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting of electronic hardware.
- Carry out precision soldering and rework of surface mount (SMT).
- Work with engineers to assemble, test and validate prototype boards.
- Document test results, issues and findings for further improvements.
- Assist in component selection, procurement and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocol.
- Diploma/Degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits and PCB layouts.
- Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Proficiency in soldering and desoldering of electronic components.
- Familiarity with basic test and measurement equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets and technical documents.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and work in an R&D environment.
- Hands‑on experience in a dynamic R&D environment.
