Job summary
A global well-being company in Dubai is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on machinery within their processing operations. The role involves conducting regular inspections, diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and maintaining equipment reliability. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in technical work within the frozen food industry, complemented by a High School Diploma or ITI trade certificate. Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance of equipment as per the schedule.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance tasks.
- Inspect equipment for wear and replace faulty components promptly.
- Document maintenance activities and manage tools and spare parts inventory.
- Provide input to enhance machine performance.

The incumbent in the Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing hands‑on maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment used within GMG Foods processing operations. The Maintenance Technician ensures that all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition by conducting regular inspections diagnosing malfunctions and executing repair and preventive maintenance tasks. This role is essential to minimize downtime support production efficiency and uphold GMGs standards for safety and equipment reliability.
- Conduct preventative maintenance of equipment as per the schedule. Identify problems as they arise informing Maintenance Supervisor of deviations or when unfamiliar with situations.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance tasks and in case of any breakdown activities.
- Assisting in implementing preventive maintenance schedules inspect equipment for wear and potential issues and replace faulty components promptly to avoid breakdowns.
- Compliance with HACCP/GMP standards.
- Document maintenance activities manage tools and spare parts inventory and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Perform any other assignments as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Working closely with production staff the incumbent will provide input to enhance machine performance recommend improvements for machinery efficiency and contribute to a safe and effective maintenance culture within the facility.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in machine operation/technical work within frozen food industry.
- High School Diploma or ITI trade certificate (electrical/mechanical).
