Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering support and maintenance for non-sterile production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsibilities include adherence to cGMP principles, alignment of repair activities with company goals, and monitoring engineering safety. Strong communication skills in English are required, along with knowledge of SAP and MS Office.

Qualification/Functional Knowledge

• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 4‑6 years’ experience in a similar organization in Pharmaceutical (Food Industries etc.) and good knowledge of mechanics
• Knowledgeable with all types of non‑sterile equipment, its parts and operation
• Understands all aspects of pharma machineries installation and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of engineering and maintenance documents (GED)
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes
• Preventive/corrective maintenance knowledge of PM/CM planning and scheduling
• Strong command in English (communicating, writing and speaking)
• Professional in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent management skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Positive mindset attitude
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledgeable with materials and equipment used in pharma equipment maintenance
• Knowledge in SAP
