Directs and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in the Production Engineering Section. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at the level established by management for the position.

• Investigates and troubleshoots any anomalies, irregularities or problems related to production facilities on any plant or process.
• Obtains and analyses relevant data on circumstances and situations and develops appropriate solutions or specifies requirements for additional information or specialist assistance.
• Initiates, analyses, processes and provides technical input into the development of plant modifications or new facilities, from initial proposal inclusive of preparing "Statement of Requirements" (conceptual designs for projects) through to commissioning and start up, covering a diverse range; from minor additions of platforms or walkways, to redesigns of manifolds or vessels, to construction and installation of major new vessels, tanks and associated pipework, instrumentation and other existing facilities.

B.Sc. in Chemical/Mechanical or Process Engineering. 7 years' experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or production/process operations, preferably with an oil-producing company.
