We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Event Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all logistical aspects of our various events, from corporate functions and large conventions to intimate gatherings and product launches. As the Event Operations Manager, you will have a hand in every stage of event planning and execution, ensuring that every detail is meticulously accounted for to create memorable experiences for our clients and attendees. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional events that exceed client expectations and enhance our company's reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed operational plans for each event, considering specific client needs and objectives.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee the logistical setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring efficient processes.
• Manage on-site event staff, providing clear directions and support as needed.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure proper promotion and branding of events.
• Monitor event budgets, keeping track of expenses to avoid exceeding financial limits.
• Work with the sales team to define event objectives and metrics for success.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during all phases of events.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure cost-effective arrangements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and exceed their expectations.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the event promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar operations role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and vendor interactions.
• Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as event schedules demand.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure meticulous execution of event setups.
• Ability to travel frequently to different locations for various events.
