About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer contributes to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. The role involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit's capabilities. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions using agile methodologies and emerging technologies.
• Ensure backend services are scalable, responsive, and real-time to support platform growth.
• Maintain high security standards to protect user assets and data.

Additional requirements include experience with crypto wallets, modular architecture, complex platform/API development, quick learning ability, and security best practices.

• Experience with high-availability system concepts.
• Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ is advantageous.
• Familiarity with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
