Job Overview

As a full‑time Roller Operator, you will operate and maintain roller machines to compact and level materials on construction sites. You will collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure all surfaces meet project specifications and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roller machines to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other materials.
• Inspect and maintain roller equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Communicate with the construction team to determine appropriate compaction methods for different materials.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to achieve desired compaction levels.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on roller machines as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
• Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
