Your mission

As Resident Engineer - Civil - Cable in our Transmission & Distribution department, you will supervise civil activities related to underground high-voltage cable works, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and quality standards, while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Your key responsibilities

• Oversee civil works for high-voltage underground cable installations, including trenching, ducting, and cable laying.
• Monitor contractor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications and schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks on civil works and materials.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports, progress updates, and NCRs as needed.
• Review and approve method statements, drawings, and material submittals related to civil works.

We seek candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers).
• Minimum 12 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 8 years in underground high-voltage cable projects.
• Experience in utility infrastructure projects within the GCC is preferred.

• Strong leadership and coordination skills for managing site teams and contractors.
• Proficient in reviewing civil designs, construction methodologies, and quality standards.
• Knowledge of civil engineering codes and standards, both international and local.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and in multicultural environments.
