Instrument Technician - Abu Dhabi
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field, and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The salary range for this position is 1600 AED. We are open to considering immigrants as well.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in instrumentation and automation or equivalent field
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, schematics, etc.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and test equipment
• Knowledge in programming logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Installation, maintenance, service and repairs of instrumentation systems such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, level gauges etc.
• Calibrate instruments using various types of test equipment
• Troubleshoot instrument problems using diagnostic tools
• Provide technical assistance on instrumentation system designs
• Respond promptly to requests for service calls
• Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks on instrumentation systems
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed during the installation or repair process
