TTEOM is the operating company of the power and desalination plant named Taweelah1 located in the Kingdom of Abu Dhabi. Shareholders in the operating company are Engie (50%) and TotalEnergies (50%). TTEOM operate to generate approximately revenues of 230MUSD, CAPEX of ~10MUSD and expected dividends of ~85MUSD

Education, knowledge & experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or relevant degree)
Master in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or relevant degree) or equivalent experience is preferred
At least 15 years’ experience in managing power plants at managerial level
Preference for Power Generation / gas turbine / combined cycle / Gas engine experience; desalination is a plus
Communication : English is a must, Arabic strongly appreciated : excellent communications skills both written and verbal
The ability to bring people together and assist in reconciling differences
Excellent organizational skills
Social Perceptiveness : is aware of others’ reactions and understanding as to why they react the way they do

Ensure implementation of effective and economical operating methods and techniques and identify technology changes, which can be implemented to advance the same.
Develop and ensure implementation of plans and procedures to achieve optimum availability and operating efficiency of the power and desalination plant.
Ensure and direct implementation of efficient and effective maintenance methods and techniques.
Analyze and study operating maintenance costs and take necessary measures as required.
Establish and ensure maintenance of effective monitoring and reporting systems.
Ensure that adequate and trained personnel are available to effectively carry out plant activities and oversee programs for training Arab and U.A.E. nationals.
Coordinate and control relations with Owner, necessary for accomplishment of the function and ensure that the staff are kept informed of technical developments in fields of present or potential interest.
Coordinate and control all interfaces with Owner, ADWEC, ADNOC, Transco and Operator of the Shared Facilities necessary for the accomplishment of the function.
Provide Owner and TotalEnergies -Tractebel Management with a summary of daily log sheet, daily performance report, weekly water status report, monthly performance as well as operating and maintenance activities with any recommendations of modification and an annual report.
Ensure that incident reports with causes and remedial actions are forwarded to TotalEnergies -Tractebel management and Owner.
Confirm and approve all purchase requisitions initiated by Department Heads and Section Heads.
Approve recommendations for spare parts purchases made by Department Heads.
Chair weekly meetings with Department Heads to discuss operating conditions, maintenance progress and any difficulties and plan activities for following week.
Ensure operation and maintenance is in line with the O & M Contract
