Ophthalmic OT Nurse
Job summary
A healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic OT Nurse to join their surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist in ophthalmic surgeries and ensure operating theatre readiness. Candidates should have a nursing degree, at least 2 years of OT experience, preferably in ophthalmology, and strong communication skills. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Nurse, preferably with exposure to ophthalmic procedures.
- Valid DHA license or eligibility (preferred).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments and surgical schedules.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating theatre for ophthalmic procedures.
- Assist surgeons during ophthalmic surgeries.
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

You will be responsible for assisting ophthalmic surgeons, ensuring OT readiness, maintaining sterility, and providing high standards of pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Prepare the operating theatre for ophthalmic procedures, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
- Assist surgeons during ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, retinal, and other eye-related procedures.
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient care.
