Job Description: As a Registered Nurse at our healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various medical specialties. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplin ary team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients at all times.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' unique needs, conditions, and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices, empowering them to actively participate in their care and make informed decisions.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatments and interventions, recognizing and promptly addressing any changes in their condition or unexpected complications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement activities, and interdisciplinary rounds to enhance patient outcomes, optimize healthcare delivery processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain professional competence and stay updated on best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and advances in nursing practice through ongoing education, training, and professional development activities.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, empathy, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders, fostering a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
