ANT Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified and detailoriented Electrical Inspector with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision and quality assurance The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring site electrical works ensuring compliance with approved drawings specifications and authority regulations and reporting to the project engineer or resident engineer Key Responsibilities Inspect all electrical installations including power lighting fire alarm ELV and grounding systems on site Review and verify material deliveries and ensure they comply with approved submittals and project specifications Ensure all electrical work is carried out according to applicable codes DEWA DM DCD and other relevant UAE authority standards Attend site inspections testing and commissioning and prepare reports on findings and compliance status Monitor contractor s workmanship to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards Review and comment on electrical shop drawings method statements and inspection requests Report nonconformances and follow up on corrective actions Coordinate with other discipline inspectors to ensure smooth project execution Support authority inspections e g DEWA DCD and assist in closing related comments Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of all inspection activities Requirements Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in UAE construction supervision inspection roles Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and authority submission procedures DEWA DCD DM Familiarity with electrical codes standards and best practices Proficient in reading electrical drawings and specifications Good communication and reportwriting skills UAE Driving License is an advantage
